Who says recycling isn't fun??? Because we sure think so! Along with a network of volunteers, we celebrated Recycling Awareness Day by setting up locations where Greene County residents could bring their recyclables! Youth Advisory Council members were there during scheduled times to help residents unload and sort items; bins were available through the rest of the week.
"The Greene County Future Fund, in connection with Earth Day and the Paragould Chamber of Commerce manned the recycling bins on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Downtown Paragould, Paragould School District, and Greene County Tech Primary. Thank you to the YAC club for their help and assistance and thank you to all that came and contributed to the effort”
In 2017, the Greene County Future Fund, in partnership with the City of Paragould purchased and delivered a recycle bin to EVERY elementary school in Greene County.
As members of the Future Fund, we believe you instill good habits at an early age and they will be habits as adults.
You can now sign up for curb side recycling at Paragould City Hall between 8:00 – 4:30. Costs of bin is $15.00.
The bins will be picked up at the same time as your regular trash on a weekly basis. We are very excited that the City of Paragould is now offering this as a service!
In 2018, the Greene County Future Fund purchased an outdoor recycling receptacle to be placed at the Paragould Community Center. This is the FIRST outdoor recycle container in use in Greene County.
If you are not able to afford a recycle bin, please contact the Greene County Future Fund and we will review your request for financial assistance.
